Hi, I'm Tasha. I've been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2010. The primary focus of my practice is providing relaxing, therapeutic massage to help relieve stress and pain, and promote healing in the body.
In my certification training at Monterey Institute of Touch, I studied a variety of massage modalities. Since then, I've developed my own massage therapy technique, the PAR Method (Parasympathetic & Adrenal Recovery Method). I utilize intentionally slow, repetitive strokes applied with moderate pressure to help my clients achieve deep relaxation, stress reduction and healing in the body. Click here for more info.
In 2015, my husband and I relocated to the Roseville area, where I opened Gold Country Massage. My vision is to share the health benefits of massage therapy with those who seek to improve and maintain their overall health and wellness.
I'm currently taking classes at Sierra College with the goal of applying to medical school in the summer of 2020. My intention is to pursue a doctorate degree and become a family practice doctor, providing care here in the Roseville area.
Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I received my B.A. in Fine Arts from UC Davis. I enjoy writing in my free time, and you can follow my new blog, My Adventure into Med, here.
